What was once a ratty strip mall next to a gas station, anchored by a Circle K, is resurging with a coffee shop and an ice cream parlor catering to UMKC students. And the gas station is now a hip new pizza joint.

Tanners, at 74th & Wornall in Waldo, my destination on this walk. A 10 mile walk to get here, plus 2.1 more miles wandering around killing time.
